Staying warm as Fall moves in.

We moved south after our stay in Taos NM, typical snowbirds on a southern migration. We spent one night boondocked (the term for camping in an RV with no hookups) in Vega, TX. This was a Harvest Host stay at a Rt. 66 museum. The museum wasn't open over the weekend, but there were lots of neat things outside to see. This tarantula visited us , a sober reminder that it's wise to be aware of our surroundings. I got close enough to take a picture, but left it alone and didn't see anymore  From there we ventured on to Oklahoma City.
The museum here has so much information and exquisite displays of the Western history, including Native American people, cowboy, and military notable stories, art and artifacts.  We enjoyed it very much.
Thank you for taking the time to check out our adventures. I'll be posting more along the way.
